Terms and Conditions Stock Availability and Delivery Our shop is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9am to 12:30pm. However, we only dispatch goods on Monday to Friday between 9am to 5:30pm. Any orders received outside these hours will be picked on the next available working day (e.g, an order received on Saturday will be picked on Monday). We will make our best efforts to dispatch within 24 hours any item ordered that we have in stock. Our normal delivery time is 48 hours from time of dispatch. For orders that are not in stock, you’re order will automatically be put on back order and we will contact you by email to let you know when to expect your stock items to arrive. If for any reason you do not want to wait for the stock item, contact us and we will cancel the order and refund any monies paid. Any dates or time periods we give for restocking are indicative only. Larger items are dispatched by TNT for next delivery and are guaranteed to arrive. If for any reason, you do not receive the stock you ordered, please contact us and we will investigate on your behalf. If it is shown that the goods were not delivered by the courier, we will dispatch a replacement item, a credit note or a full refund. Please note, that for the couriers to deliver the package, you will need to specify a delivery address where you will be able to sign for the goods. For smaller items we use the postal service. Normally you will be able to specify any delivery address you choose, but for your security, the first delivery can only be to the registered credit card address. The choice of other delivery addresses will automatically become available a week after your first order has been dispatched. Money Back Guarantee If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return the goods to us within 14 days from the date of dispatch and providing the goods are in as new condition, we will refund the value of the order minus the delivery charge and a 5% handling fee. (The handling fee is calculated as 5% of total value including delivery, but may be waived at our discretion). * Please note this policy does not apply for special orders. Please read the section on special orders for details. Pricing The prices on the website are indicative. We reserve the right to change the prices without prior notice. VAT All products shown on the website are subject to VAT. All prices are shown including VAT Phone charges Our main phone number is charged at local rates, for calls made from any other BT phone in the United Kingdom. Fraud Policy We reserve the right to hold or cancel any orders without prior notice that we deem to be suspicious. Any attempts at fraud will be investigated rigorously by electronic means and reported to the appropriate national or international authorities. Reconditioned Items For reconditioned items, where the website specifies that a part is required in part exchange, the initial order will include a surcharge (indicated on the website), which will be refunded when we receive the exchange item. This is dependant on the exchange item being in a serviceable condition. Payment Options We accept payments through all major credit cards, debit cards, cheque and cash (cash can only be accepted at our premises in person). We will only process orders for which we have received the payment in full. Orders paid for by cheque unless accompanied by a cheque guarantee card will be dispatched once the money has cleared our bank account. Cheque guarantee cards can only be accepted at our premises in person. Descriptions All product descriptions are given in good faith. Any claims from products of improved handling/performance or other modifications that would effect the car are based on an unmodified factory standard car and excludes special editions. Damaged or Faulty Goods In the very unlikely event that a product is faulty or delivered in a damaged condition, in the first instance please phone us on 0845 345 2727 or email us at info@mx5mad.com.We will need your order number and a description of the problem. Where goods are determined to be faulty or damaged, please return the goods to us at the address below and we will replace them and refund your postage, or give you a full refund. * Please note this policy does not apply for special orders. Due to the nature of special orders, we can not normally accept cancellation of special orders once the order has been placed. If there are exceptional circumstances, we can attempt to cancel the order with our supplier, but we can not guarantee this and reserve the right to pass on any expenses to the customer.
Special orders are not covered by our Money Back Guarantee.
We make our best endeavours to ensure that your goods are complete and in good condition before they are shipped from Japan. We are happy to negotiate on your behalf with Japanese suppliers if you are not happy with your goods. However if goods need to be returned, the customer will normally be expected to pay return shipping charges. We may at our discretion waive these charges under exceptional circumstances.
All orders from Japan are covered by freight insurance and damage in transit can be claimed on this insurance.
Limited Slip Differentials Limited slip differential warranty does not cover mechanical damage to the Limited Slip differential through excessive forces being applied (e.g, high power turbo/supercharger/nitrous applications).
