So whats special about an Emerald ECU ?
We took a BEGi fitted turbo car to the rolling road for tuning with an Emerald ECU and boost solenoid. Normally with a turbocharged car, the turbo is already on full boost on part throttle and the power feeds in rapidly, which can make cornering with the turbo a tricky affair.
With the Emerald ECU, the turbo boost can be fine tuned by throttle position, so that the ECU controls how much boost the turbo can deliver depending on what your right foot is doing. If you lightly apply the throttle with your right foot, you get a little boost from the turbo, floor it and all hell brakes loose. The result is a 251bhp turbo car with the best driveability of any we have driven. In practical terms, it means you can balance the power through a corner on part throttle with the turbo restricted by the ecu to make part boost and then you can build the boost up as you exit the corner through the use of the throttle, reaching full boost as you see the straight. It makes for some really fun driving and faster, safer progress through the twisty stuff. you can see the dyno that shows power runs for 50% throttle, 75% throttle and 100% throttle by clicking here.

Credit card details are not held within our store and are all handled by Worldpay who are the leaders in secure internet credit card processing. Items that are ordered will normally be dispatched within 24 hours. Delivery is normally to any delivery address, but for your security we insist that the first order goes to the card holders address*.
